I Took my dad here today for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish:) They were extremely busy however, the service was impeccable, we were seated within minutes and the waitress had a big smile with our coffees and menus and went over the daily breakfast specials...she was such a sweet lady,very attentive, an a great personality:) Breakfast was out within several minutes...and let me tell you ...it was exceptional, presentation, quality of foods,large portions, fresh and flavorful...wow, one of the best breakfast restaurants I've been to ever!!!...all staff, is so friendly, outgoing, and you can clearly see that they love what they are doing and work well together:) We've been here 3 times in the last month and every time the experience was Exceptional...so, I wanted to share this lastest experience with all of the other reviews they have currently received!! Outstanding, breakfast, we have tried several different things all high quality, exceptional taste and freshness, friendly servers, homey atmosphere great coffee....enclosed are a few pictures of the Eggs benedict and the California omelet...I highly recommend this cozy restaurant for breakfast or lunch :) amazing... We found this cozy little spot on our way home from Mohegan Sun. Great vibe and delicious breakfast. I always order my bacon extra crispy and this is one of the few places that got it right. Plates were also generous with more food than I could eat. Service was friendly and super fast but not at the expense of quality.

Wonderful local place to grab breakfast or lunch. Owner and our server were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The food was absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend anyone to stop by for some great food!

Stopped in for breakfast after the Phish show. Everything was amazing... So fresh, big portions. Great coffee. The people who work there are so nice and personable. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in town!

This place makes the perfect breakfast. The little details in the food everything cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Perfect Toast and cheesy eggs. Soft pancake with melted butter so yummy.

We had a wonderful breakfast. My husband had corned beef hash. He said some of the best corned beef hash he ever had. I had pancakes with pineapples and bananas. Excellent. Our waitress was very nice. Coffee was good too. We will definitely go back. Ellen the owner is wonderful. The place is so nice and clean. Thanks again for the wonderful breakfast. From Nancy.

This is a local JEWEL!! One of my favorite stops. Aside from the great food, my favorite thing about this place is that it smells of absolutely nothing! That is the GOLD STANDARD in cleanliness! No perfumes covering up bad odors, just clean. Staff is uniformly welcoming and pleasant and I never ever feel hurried. Most of the time, I stop in on my own, and I sit at the bar. Service, it's exactly the same quality at the bar as it is at a table.. excellent. Their food menu is exciting and eclectic. Which suits me! They have great combinations that I would NEVER have thought of ! It is a lot of fun to try something completely wildly new in a clean welcoming place.. they have a great assortment of pies and a huge selection of books from the author of Goodnight Moon, and it's Good Night..YOU NAME IT! if you are visiting Uncasville you should really stop in to Herbs.. You will be glad you did.

Great food, exceptionally friendly staff and great atmosphere. My wife said the Eggs Benedict was the best she ever had, and she's rather picky with it, so that's saying A LOT! Price was a bit high - 55 for 2 people not including tip, though I did get quite the omelette (extra cheese, extra egg, ham, peppers,onions and jalapenos). Not enough to deduct a star, but it'd be a consideration next time when deciding, for sure. I grew up in town and moved away 25 years ago. So much has changed, so it's nice to see this business remains true to itself - always been great and has only gotten better!
